Every April, Second Chance Month gives our community a chance to say out loud what a lot of us already know: the sentence doesn’t end at the gate. The barriers to jobs, housing, and family reunification that Returning Citizens face can be just as confining as incarceration itself. Here in Spokane, SpoFI and Second Chances are working to change that, one returning father at a time.
