Looking ahead: A new year of transforming fathers’ lives

As we reflect on 2024, the stories of transformation at the Spokane Fatherhood Initiative fill us with hope and gratitude. Through our evidence-based programs and dedicated community support, we’ve witnessed remarkable journeys of fathers reconnecting with their children, rebuilding trust, and creating stronger families.

This year, 125 fathers graduated from our 24-7 Dad programs, engaging in over 3,000 hours of transformative training. But beyond these numbers are the real stories – fathers like Alex who discovered new ways to connect with their children, and men like Ethan who found strength in community and shared experience.

“These classes have changed my life in my relationship with my children and with others close to me,” shares Alex Goblish, a recent graduate of our 24-7 Dad Advanced Program. His story, like so many others, reminds us of the profound impact that structured support and encouragement can have on families.

As we step into 2025, we remain committed to our mission of restoring the value of fatherhood so that every child has a present, loving, and nurturing father. With the continued support of our community champions and partners, we look forward to reaching more fathers, strengthening more families, and building a brighter future for our community.

From all of us at SpoFI, thank you for being part of this transformative journey. Here's to another year of changing lives, one father at a time.
