James Tidwell was separated from his children for seven years, but regained access in October of 2021. James gives credit to God and the Spokane Fatherhood Initiative for reuniting him with his kids. SpoFI chose him as non-custodial 2022 Father of the Year because of his passionate pursuit of becoming a better dad.

Kevin Kizzar struggled with addiction and a toxic relationship but through God’s grace overcame those challenges and refused to abandon his children. Kevin credits fatherhood training through the Spokane Fatherhood Initiative as a major contributor to his success. SpoFI salutes Kevin for his passionate commitment to his family and is proud to name him custodial 2022 Father of the Year.
