U.S. Representative Michael Baumgartner honored the Spokane Fatherhood Initiative on the House floor this week, calling SpoFI “a pillar in our community” and recognizing seven years of transformative work helping fathers show up for their families. The Congressional recognition, delivered just days after SpoFI’s Building Legacy celebration, acknowledged the organization’s evidence-based programming and the broader truth that “when fathers are present, engaged children do better and entire communities prosper.”

Dear Friends, For the past several weeks I have been working on a major message I will present at the luncheon detailed below. The title: “The Future of The Church, Marriage and Fatherhood.” Sadly, all three are in decline and the fate of these sacred institutions is intertwined. I have some startling data to share.
