Build lasting friendships and community through board games with other SpoFI dads.
Why we’re doing this
There aren’t enough spaces where dads can just be dads—relaxing, connecting, and building the kind of friendships that last. Gaming Fellowship Nights create that space. Whether you’re into strategy games, quick card games, or just showing up for good conversation and coffee, this is your community.
When we meet
The 1st and 3rd Friday of each month (excluding graduation nights), starting February 20th, 2026.
Doors open between 5:00-6:00 PM
Games run until 8:00-9:00 PM
Group cleanup follows
Where we meet
SpoFI Headquarters
711 E 3rd Ave
Spokane, WA 99202
Who can join
You must be already registered for 24/7 DAD® PM classes or higher. Space is limited to 20 participants initially—sign up early to secure your spot.
What to expect
We’re starting simple with board and card games in the main room. As the group grows and we figure out what everyone wants, we’ll expand into tabletop games, campaign games in the conference room, and even workshops for modeling, painting, and other gaming hobbies.
Down the road, we’re planning community events at local game shops and parks—raising awareness for SpoFI while building a tight-knit brotherhood of dads.
Food and drinks
First Friday of each month is potluck—bring a dish to share. Other nights, bring your own food or eat beforehand.
We provide sparkling water and coffee. Bring your own drinks if you prefer, but no alcohol. If you’re bringing homemade drinks for potluck, no spiking.
We’ll also do extra potluck gatherings around the holidays.
Games and gear
We’re starting with basic board and card games—some provided by SpoFI, some from you. Bring your own games anytime to grow the collection. As we figure out what the group enjoys, we’ll expand the library.
If we play background music, it’ll be simple, preferably instrumental, and kept low so conversation can flow.

How we roll
This is still SpoFI, which means we maintain the same standards you know from class:
- Keep it PG-13—watch your language and keep things family-friendly
- No aggressive behavior or language
- No PDA
- This is a no-judgment zone—confidentiality matters here just like in class
- No ouija boards or similar items
- No gambling with real money (chips provided if you want stakes)
Most importantly: Remember it’s just a game. You’ll get them next time.
Decision-making
This is your group. Decisions about games, potlucks, events, and activities will be made by vote. Our mission is to serve the dads in this community and build genuine friendships—and everyone gets a voice in how we do that.
Looking ahead
We’re starting every other week with a vision to meet weekly once the group gets established. As weather warms up, expect workshops, outdoor events, and yard sale game hunts to grow our selection.
The goal is simple: build a well-knit group of dads who support each other, have fun together, and represent what SpoFI is all about.
